MoveCars.com is operated by Padgett Enterprises LLC, doing business as Move Cars. By using the Move Cars website or app — browsing listings, requesting quotes or booking transport — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

You must be at least 18 years old to book vehicle transport through Move Cars.

Move Cars is a marketplace. We help you find auto transport companies, compare what they quote, and book with the one you choose. We are not an auto transport carrier: we do not own trucks, and we do not move vehicles ourselves.

The transport itself is a contract between you and the company you select, on that company’s own terms. Move Cars does not endorse any company in the directory and is not affiliated with them. Listing information comes from the companies themselves and from public records, so your choice should not rest on advertised claims alone.

Quotes are estimates. The price, pickup window and delivery window depend on the route, the vehicle, the season and the transporter’s availability, and the company you select sets the final terms.

When you book, and agree to it on the booking form, we pass your name, email address and phone number to that company so they can arrange the shipment and reach you about it. Cancellations, changes, damage claims and payment disputes are handled under that company’s terms, not ours.

A company may also ask for your separate permission to contact you by automated call, text or prerecorded voicemail, including with offers of their own. That permission is optional, your booking does not depend on it, and it is given to that company on their terms — so you withdraw it with them, not with us. Replying STOP to our verification codes does not stop their messages.

The details you give us have to be accurate and yours to give: the vehicle must be one you own or are authorized to ship, and the mobile number you enter must be a number you control. Entering someone else’s number sends them a verification code they did not ask for, so do not do it.

Do not use the website or app to scrape or republish our listings, to send unsolicited messages to the companies listed, or to interfere with their operation or security.

Program description. This program sends a one-time verification code by text message to confirm that the mobile number you entered when booking vehicle transport belongs to you. It carries verification codes only — no marketing, no promotions and no shipment updates.

How you opt in. You opt in by entering your mobile number on the Move Cars booking form and asking us to send you a verification code. We send a code only in response to that request, and we do not add numbers from any other source.

Message frequency. One message per verification request, plus one more each time you ask for the code to be resent.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Move Cars does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier’s rates apply as normal.

How to stop. We text you only when a verification code is requested for your number, so if no code is requested, no message is sent. Reply STOP to a code and you get one reply confirming nothing more will be sent for it; a new code is sent only if another is requested for your number.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, email support@movecars.com, or use our contact page.

Your mobile carrier. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on your carrier and your device.

Privacy. See the Move Cars Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Company profiles combine what the companies tell us with public records, such as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s registry, and with business information from Google. We show it as we receive it and cannot guarantee that it is current or complete — check a company’s authority and insurance with it directly before you ship.

The Move Cars name, logo, website and app design, and directory are ours. Links to other sites are for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.

The website and app are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, Move Cars disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that either will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Move Cars is not liable for the acts or omissions of the transport company you select, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies. Continuing to use the website or app after a change means you accept it.
